Camryn Hall is a homeschool student that attends BMS every day for band class. Outside of band, she's also the secretary for the Wayne County 4H Sharp Shooters club. The members that choose to do competitions practice weekly throughout the year, and have a regional match to determine who will go to the state match. Only the top 10 in the Junior Division (under 14 yrs old) and the top 20 in the Senior Division (14 and up) get to. Camryn placed 2nd out of all the regional matches combined, and on February 10 she had the opportunity to compete at the state level, where she again came in 2nd place! Big congratulations to Camryn for a job well done!!

UPCOMING REWARD TRIP FOR 4TH SIX WEEKS - The criteria for attending the field trip is zero unexcused absences, no more than one detention, and at least a 2.0 GPA on the six weeks. The last day to turn in excuses for absences was Friday, March 1, 2024. This has been announced for weeks. I am sending out a list to teachers today to share with our students to make sure we have all information correct. Again, last Friday was the last day to accept notes for unexcused absences. Responsibility is a very important quality to develop, and we are trying to help our students achieve it. Permission slips are due to school today. They will not be accepted after today. All permission slips and excuses have been entered into the system.
