The Naval Academy Summer STEM Applications opened on January 4 and will remain open until April 15. Current 8th grade students attend June 3-8. BMS Herdiculture members met with Jason Ekers today to talk about the benefits of Farm to Table, and how utilizing local farming can provide us fresh, high-quality foods.
It is National Counselor's Week. This is a perfect opportunity to highlight Mrs. Hensley. She is the WV State Counselor of the Year and made the State Superintendent's Update! We also have Mrs. Barksdale who supplants Mrs. Hensley's work at BMS. We hit the jackpot with these two!
EVENING STUDENT PICK UP - Please make sure that the busses ALWAYS have a clear path to complete their runs. After they deliver our students home, they go to another school to deliver more students. If their route is blocked, they are late getting students home. Thank you!
Today students learned about healthy and unhealthy relationships with the help of representatives from Branches & Contact. They participated in an activity called "In Your Shoes" and then debriefed together as a group. We appreciate the partnership we have with these organizations. Please talk with your students about what they learned today!
