OPERATION GRATITUDE - is a non-profit organization that supports active-duty service members and first responders. The primary support is through care packages sent to them in the field. BMS wrote 162 letters of appreciation and crafted 57 paracord lanyards during the week before Thanksgiving Break. These will be included in the care packages showing the depth of gratitude for their service from all of us back home. BMS also raised $106.33 as a part of the "Cents for Service" campaign. 6th Grade won this contest. In fact, they blew it out of the water! This money will be used to help cover the costs of shipping the care packages to our soldiers overseas. We are incredibly proud of our BMS students and their continued efforts to improve our school and community.
