Congratulations to Buffalo Middle School‘s own Teagan Collins. We’re proud to share that eighth grader Teagan Collins won first place in the Wayne County Farm Bureau‘s Agriculture Photo Contest. Teagan‘s winning photo stood out among roughly 50 entries from students across the county, earning her a $100 prize. Way to go, Teagan! Your hard work and creativity make BMS shine!
Today, students will be bringing their report cards home. Next week, our students will be taking the winter benchmark assessments. The benchmarks are an important part of how we monitor student progress and use data to guide instruction throughout the school year. The benchmarks are modeled after the West Virginia General Summative Assessment (WVGSA) and help teachers identify strengths, address areas of need, and better support each student's learning. Please encourage your student to get plenty of rest the night before, get to school on time, and do their best on the test.
8th Grade Families - The SV CTE visit is being rescheduled again. Due to this, we will be completing high school scheduling tomorrow morning. Please make sure your student is at school to complete this process. Attached is information about classes they can choose from.
