
IMPORTANT BUS INFORMATION FOR TODAY ----- If your child lives between Rocky Tops and Super Quik (Copley's for us old folk), you will need to pick your child up from school. There has been an accident and there is not space for the buses to make the U-Turns that it would require.

The WVU School of Dentistry is pleased to offer a dental career exploration program uniquely designed for WV students entering 6th-8th grade in the fall. The application deadline is May 31st, but this program is first come, first serve, so sign up ASAP!

We received this donation of hygiene bags from the WV Extension 4H program on Friday. We sent some bags home that day and will send more home today. Thanks to them for all they do for our school!

8th Graders - There are 25 Wayne County Pledge Scholarships up for grabs, and the application window is open! The Wayne County Pledge is a $1,000 scholarship that can be used for post-secondary education or training. The deadline to apply is May 15th at 11:59 p.m.



Our RAZE Crew hosted the "Donut Be Fooled" event this morning. Students learned about the dangers of vaping and the manipulative marketing of the tobacco industry. #RazeWV #tobaccofree #takedowntobacco









We participated again this year in the WV Attorney General's Kids Kick Opioids PSA Contest. We made about 40 submissions to the state contest, but we also ran a schoolwide contest. The pictures attached are our top 3 winners: Junie McFann, Everleigh Leonard, and Emily Smith.




Just a reminder that Parent-Teacher Conferences are tonight from 4-6 pm. While you're here, stop by the counselor's office to write a note of encouragement for your student that I will deliver the week of state testing!



If your student is absent, please call or email the school to let us know why. Also, if you are going to call to give your student a bus note, please do that before 1:30 pm.
